Welcome

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in the treatment of the survivors of sexual abuse and their non-offending family members. I also treat adolescents, adults and couples with a variety of problems including; depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, and parenting difficulties.

Survivors of sexual abuse often have a variety of problems that seem unsolvable or do not seem to make sense. I have specialized training that allows me to help clients understand their current problems in connection with their history of abuse.

I offer my clients a safe, respectful, interactive and compassionate environment in which to understand their problems and find relief. I treat each client as an individual, and use my training to guide them as they find a unique solution to their problems.

I received a Bachelor of Science from Northwestern University and a Masters of Social Work from Loyola University Chicago. I have been practicing since 2002, and have specialized training in psychodynamic psychotherapy and the treatment of survivors of sexual abuse. Prior to becoming a clinical social worker, I had over 20 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
